KRB, with funding support from the World Bank, conducted a capacity building workshop for county governments in Kenya. The specific objectives of the workshop were to:

1. Expose relevant County Governments’ staff to policies, strategies, procedures, practices, guidelines and manuals that have, over the years, guided the implementation of road works in Kenya.

2. Disseminate existing Policy Guidelines for the management and application of the RMLF Conditional Grant to County Governments.

3. Propose any additional Policy Guidelines that may be necessary to improve efficiency in the management and application of RMLF Conditional Grant.

4. Propose a coordination mechanism for overseeing the implementation of RMLF funded projects and programmes by County Governments
